When creating Taurus 2 LUX model we used the best features of Taurus beds’ series and guidelines from the users to introduce a number of changes affecting comfort and functionality of the bed. The main difference is four-column construction. This solution guarantees greater stability of the bed. For comfort of use position of the siderails has been lowered significantly to facilitate getting up and sitting on the bed. Introduced changes allowed us to reduce the total length of the bed – making it more compact and suitable for use in rooms with limited space. In Taurus 2 LUX we used decorative wooden bed ends.

Four-column construction - provides high stability of the rehabilitation bed, powder-coated finish
Lowered side rails position - significantly improves patient comfort when getting in and out of the bed
Compact dimensions – design modifications have reduced the overall bed length, making it suitable for use in rooms with limited space
Four-section mattress platform - made of metal slats for easy disinfection or flexible wooden slats. The backrest section is electrically adjustable via the hand controller, while the lower leg section adjustment requires the use of a ratchet mechanism.
Bed control The ergonomic shape of the hand controller ensures comfortable operation and easy access to all bed adjustment functions.
The controller is equipped with a lockout feature for bed movements, operated by a key.
Covered bed ends made of laminated board and solid beech wood. In the LUX model, the head and foot bed ends are fully enclosed, concealing the actuators and side rail guide mechanisms. Upholstered head and foot panels are also available upon request.

Sockets for additional equipment. Beds from the Taurus 2 series are equipped as standard with dedicated sockets located on both the right and left sides at the head end of the bed. These allow for easy installation of additional accessories, such as a lifting pole or an IV drip stand. |

Bed Extension Kit (Optional) It is possible to extend the bed length by 20 cm, which is particularly useful for taller patients.The kit includes a dedicated bed extension frame and a set of extended side rails.Importantly, the kit is designed for easy self-installation and does not affect the functionality of the bed. |
