Bariatric 2 LUX Rehabilitation Bed has been designed for patients who require special support due to their size and weight. By incorporating a range of solutions tested on the previous model and introducing improvements, Bariatric 2 LUX is characterized by an exceptionally solid construction and increased weight capacity. These features, combined with increased width, significantly enhance comfort and safety during use. The LUX version means that the bed ends are covered, concealing the structure and actuators.

Increased maximum working load. Thanks to the use of reinforced construction and special actuators, the maximum working load for Bariatric 2 LUX is up to 372kg

Bed construction. The Bariatric 2 LUX rehabilitation bed features a four-column construction, ensuring stability even at the highest position. The frame is made of sturdy, powder-coated steel profiles. The four-section bed frame is filled with steel slats. All construction elements are designed for easy and quick disinfection. Wooden elements are made of laminated board and solid beech wood.

Autoregression - backrest section moving backwards while being profiled. Auto-regression allows for the natural lengthening of a patient’s body during profiling into a sitting position. It reduces shear and friction, which are the main reasons of bedsores. In Bariatric 2 LUX rehabilitation bed auto-regression is 4cm. |
Four-column construction - provides high stability of the rehabilitation bed, powder-coated finish
Lowered side rails position - is an essential design feature of the rehabilitation bed. Thanks to the possibility of completely lowering the side rails, the patient gains freedom of movement when getting up and sitting down, while the safety elements do not pose an obstacle. This solution enhances ergonomics of use and increases safety in everyday care
Four-section mattress platform - made of metal slats for easy disinfection. The backrest section is electrically adjustable via the hand controller, while the lower leg section adjustment requires the use of a ratchet mechanism.
Covered bed ends - the LUX version is distinguished form the standard version by its covered bed ends. This design allows for the concealment of the bed`s structural elements and actuators, giving the bed more homelike appearance.
Bed control The ergonomic shape of the hand controller ensures comfortable operation and easy access to all bed adjustment functions.
The controller is equipped with a lockout feature for bed movements, operated by a key.

Sockets for additional equipment. Beds from the Bariatric 2 LUX series are equipped as standard with dedicated sockets located on both the right and left sides at the head end of the bed. These allow for easy installation of additional accessories, such as a lifting pole or an IV drip stand. |
